Racial Equity in our Communities

Provides legal representation to people who have been illegally convicted, unfairly sentenced, or abused in state jails and prisons. The Coca‑Cola Foundation donated $1 Million to support advocates and policymakers working in criminal justice reform.

The Coca‑Cola Foundation awarded the Center a $500,000 grant for the “Campaign for Equal Dignity” and their community work through Equal Dignity Dinners. This initiative will bring diverse people together for powerful conversations that inspire social change.

Since the pandemic, xenophobic and racist incidents targeting Asian Americans and Asians who live in the U.S have increased. The Coca‑Cola Foundation donated $1 million to The Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund, and $500,000 to Asian Americans Advancing Justice, a national affiliation of five organizations advocating for the civil and human rights of Asian Americans.

The organization provides mentoring and education support services to help improve graduation rates. Their mission is to increase educational and economic opportunities for Black youth. They work through 100 local chapters. Our Coca‑Cola Brand Team donated $500,000.

This youth-focused organization offers Black children in low-income homes social, emotional, and academic support to graduate high school and go on to college or vocational-training programs. Our Brand team donated $500,000.

The first, largest and oldest organization in the Southeast focused on issues and concerns of Asian Americans, especially women, children and families with low incomes, will connect female heads of household to essential services and programs to secure long-term employment and increase the financial security of their families.

The Coca‑Cola Company is supporting the National ACE program, #AAPIStrong, which is standing up against the racial bias, discrimination and fear plaguing the AAPI business community through programs, including bias and cultural sensitivity virtual training and roundtable discussions with elected officials, policymakers and partners.
